This picture is from Abi’s wedding in Maine 2007. Dorothy was adopted by Josephine Haugen in Des Lacs, ND. This picture is Dorothy and her oldest son Wil who is roughly my brother Don’s age. I grew up with their middle child Robert who is my age. Lucy was in between Don & Bet.

Aunt Jo was originally married to Wil (I can’t remember his last name) and after his death she was married to Frank Wysomerski. She died when I was probably in high school or jr high. She & my dad were fairly close and I remember Aunt Jo’s house was always immaculate.

When Don, my father came East he lived near my Aunt Jo in Holden, Mass before moving to NH. Aunt Jo always came up for Christmas and brought me Polly Flinders smocked dresses.
