I just spoke with Ole at the Buffalo Gap Guest Ranch. He is delightful and I want to suggest that we all try to stay there. He has 10 guest rooms with 4 beds per room. The rate is $90./00 nite for 2 people. Normally he charges $10.00 extra per person over 12; but he will waive that fee if we reserve all 10 rooms. The sales tax is 5% in the country vs. 9.5% in Medora. He can hold a block of 10 rms for our Reunion.

I need to hear back from all of you asap so I can let him know about July 20 – 24th as he still has those dates open. He is already booked thru June, so we must act quickly. You can call him directly at 701-623-4200 to provide payment info to book your rooms individually under HAUGEN FAMILY REUNION.

The Buffalo Gap Guest Ranch is a working ranch 6 miles west of Medora and 1 mile out a dirt road. You can bring your camper/RV and horses. They have a Restaurant and Lounge on premise and prepare full country breakfast daily for $6.00. They do not have TV, but they do have Wi-Fi and air conditioning. There is an 18′ long deck in back with patio tables where we can all visit and enjoy the Teddy Roosevelt Park. Click here to visit their website.

Ole says we can also have a cookout there and they’ll handle all the work. They have a bonfire each evening and on weekends a band with outdoor dance. Sounds like a fun place that will be very casual and we can all visit alot.
